An otoscope is an ear examination device that contains a light source and lens system, and it is one of the tools used for this purpose. Otoscopes are portable, easy to maintain, and provide clear images with magnification and self-illumination capabilities. The otoscope device is a handheld tool used to detect abnormalities and potential diseases in the ear by using a light source and a special magnifying lens.

A sealed system is used for pneumatic otoscopy and aids in the accurate diagnosis of otitis media. The rotating wide-angle imaging lens provides instrumentation under magnification.

An ophthalmoscope is a device that allows doctors to examine the inside of the eye and make a diagnosis. The ophthalmoscope device uses a light source powered by a battery, mirrors, and a lens system (ophthalmoscope) to magnify and examine the back part of the eye (fundus) at certain magnifications (such as 15x), serving as a detailed eye screening tool. This device is typically referred to as an indirect ophthalmoscope.

The otoscope device, with its LED light, illuminates the inside of the ear, providing the doctor with a clear and bright examination area. Additionally, the lens system in the device magnifies the image inside the ear, making the ear's internal structures easily visible to the doctor. The cold light produced by the LED light source is usually transmitted to the otoscope head through a fiberoptic transmission channel. The image obtained from the illuminated ear canal is then magnified by the magnification lens on the back of the otoscope head, allowing the doctor to examine the image in detail.
